Asheville NC restaurant, Nine Mile, is nestled into  historic Montford, one of the favorite downtown Asheville bed and breakfast areas.  Nine Mile is  quickly becoming a local favorite.

Caribean inspired dishes, vegetarian friendly, and a expert selection of beer and wine.

Chef Aaron, June and Nat are the stars behind Nine Mile.  This  downtown Asheville NC restaurant,  has a cozy bar, relaxed atmosphere and best of all great food.  The tourists visiting Asheville’s bed and breakfasts are discovering what the Asheville neighborhood residents are trying to keep a secret.

I think the best way to inform about the creativity of the food in this restuarant(bought fresh and local first) is to share a series of daily specials:   mmmmmmmm

Today’s Special: Scallops, shrimp, crab w/ carrots & zucchini in a roasted red pepper cream sauce tossed w/ spinach fettucine.

Today’s Special: Chicken or Tofu with sauteed rasta peppers and squash in a roasted red pepper cream sauce. Server over cavatappi.

Today’s Special:Cheese tortellini tossed w/ sun dried tomatoes, squash, broccoli & carrots in creamy pesto sauce. Top w/ Grill Chicken or Tofu

Today’s Special: Grilled salmon over basmati rice with toasted almonds served with grilled asparagus drizzled with a coconut cream sauce

Today’s Special: Chicken or Tofu w/ fire roasted tomatoes, fresh garlic, & jalapenos in a white wine butter basil sauce tossed w/ spaghetti

Soup of the Day:Curried cauliflower, zucchini, carrot, onion, tomato, & chickpeas with a splash of coconut milk…topped with fresh basil.

Today’s Special: Grilled Chicken or Tofu with caramelized celery, zucchini, and squash tossed with linguine in a cremini mushroom cream sauce

Today’s Special: Grilled Cajun Mahi Mahi w/ sauteed zucchini and squash tossed w/ penne pasta in a cremini mushroom cream sauce.

Today’s Special: Grilled Cajun Tilapia w/ sauteed carrots, red peps, zukes, pineapples & fresh basil in a spicy coconut sauce w/ penne pasta.
