Jack of the Wood pub in Asheville has plenty of good food and music – and beer.  Jack’s is a Celtic style pub featuring Green Man Ales that are brewed just 2 blocks away.

Sunday evenings at Jack’s are a favorite time for us.  Late afternoon, starting around 5PM,  talented musicians jam playing Irish music – it’s a great time in this neighborhood pub – friends, food, beer and music.  The musicians play unplugged which makes it possible to have a conversation and enjoy the music -  and no smoking – yea!

Jack of the Wood is one of the most unique microbrews in the region, and on Sunday evenings their special Green Man Ales flow through the pub to the tune of an Irish jig.  Just the place to meet friends for a cozy end to the weekend and sample Asheville beer.

Jack of the Woods has a homey feel……a great local pub. We love going there. The music is good and they have all different types of music……..bluegrass, Irish, blues, rock, etc. A terrific place to meet friends and have a beer (or two).
